Cookie Policy
Effective date: April 5, 2026
Last updated: May 20, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how E-EPIC TECHNOLOGIES LTD. (“Zamala”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our platform at www.zamala.ai. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners.
Similar technologies include local storage (data stored in your browser beyond a session), pixels (tiny invisible images that signal when a page or email is viewed), and SDKs (code libraries embedded in our application). In this Policy, we refer to all of these collectively as “cookies”.
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies for three purposes:
- Strictly Necessary — to operate the platform, authenticate you, and keep it secure. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics — to understand how visitors use the platform so we can improve it. Only set with your consent.
- Marketing — to measure ad effectiveness and deliver relevant content. Only set with your consent.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the platform to function. They do not require your consent and cannot be disabled through our preference centre. You can block them via your browser settings, but this will prevent you from logging in or using core features.
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| next-auth.session-token | Zamala | Authenticates your session after login | Session / 30 days |
| next-auth.csrf-token | Zamala | Prevents cross-site request forgery attacks | Session |
| next-auth.callback-url | Zamala | Remembers where to redirect after login | Session |
| __stripe_mid | Stripe | Fraud prevention identifier for payment processing on checkout pages | 1 year |
| __stripe_sid | Stripe | Fraud prevention session identifier for payment processing on checkout pages | 30 minutes |
Browser local storage (similar technology)
We also use your browser’s local storage (not literally cookies, but covered by this Policy per Section 1) to remember a small number of preferences:
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| zamala_cookie_consent | Zamala (localStorage) | Stores your cookie consent preferences | 12 months (TTL enforced in client) |
| theme | Zamala (localStorage) | Remembers your light/dark mode preference | Until you clear browser storage |
4. Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to collect anonymised information about how visitors use Zamala — pages visited, time spent, navigation paths, and error occurrences. This helps us improve the product. These cookies are only set if you consent to analytics.
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique users by assigning a randomly generated number as a client identifier | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics (GA4) | Maintains session state for GA4 measurement | 2 years |
| _gid | Google Analytics | Stores and updates a unique value for each page visited | 24 hours |
| _gcl_au | Google Tag Manager | Used by Google AdSense and Tag Manager for conversion tracking experiments | 3 months |
Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC and may be transferred to the United States. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.
5. Marketing Cookies
We use the Facebook Pixel (Meta) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, and to build audiences for retargeting. This cookie is only set if you consent to marketing cookies. If you decline, the Facebook Pixel will not load at all on your browser.
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Facebook / Meta | Used by Meta to deliver advertisements and track visits across websites | 3 months |
| _fbc | Facebook / Meta | Stores the last ad click information from Facebook ads | 3 months |
Meta cookie data is processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. and may be transferred to the United States. For more information, see Meta’s Privacy Policy.
6. Managing Your Preferences
You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time:
- Via our preference centre: click the button below to re-open the cookie banner and update your choices.
- Via your browser: most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will affect your ability to log in and use the platform.
- Google Analytics opt-out: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Facebook ad preferences: manage via Facebook Ad Preferences.
Your preference is stored for 12 months. After that, we will ask again.
7. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services embedded in our platform (Google, Meta, Stripe). We do not control these cookies directly — they are governed by the respective third-party’s privacy and cookie policies. We only allow third-party marketing and analytics cookies to load after you have given consent. Stripe’s payment-processing cookies are necessary for fraud prevention on checkout pages and load only when you reach a checkout flow — see Stripe’s cookie policy for details.
8. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies or when the law requires it. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via our consent banner or a notice on the platform.
